yogbox modified minecraft.jar file

Ok, I totally understand that you don't offer mod support. I would appreciate if you can help me with some information. I loaded craftbukkit but didn't love it. I've become a fan of the Yogbox package of mods which seem to work together well. I can modify my single player minecraft.jar without a problem.

Here is the question. Can I then copy my local minecraft.jar to the server or will it not work? Is there a better way to install this kind of package of mods?

Second question, have you thought about having a small list of standard mods that the bot can load or something like that. Even if there was a small fee for the extra service I would go for it. Something like a admin program with advanced teleport and weather commands, Mo. creatures, a minimap mod, and maybe a flying mod. I'm know there are some really well made and reliable mods out there and you are better suited to know which ones they are. I'm sure many people would prefer to mod themselves but I'd rather play than install mods.

Happy Days and thank you for all your great support and service. I love my server and I love the price.

The majority of the mods you mention require client side modding and server side modding.
One Minecraft and Craftbukkit are officially released, we will be supporting them preinstalled.

The biggest problem with making the bot install them is that we have to:
1. Keep up with all bugs and updates for the mod
2. Be able to answer support tickets for each mod when someone has trouble
3. Wait weeks after patch days for the authors to update them and then push the update.

It's something we'd like to do, but not until the game is released.

About your other concern, the mods you place on your minecraft.jar locally are client side mods.
For those mods to work in multiplayer, they need to have a server version as well.

You mod the server the same way you mod your client. Download minecraft_server.jar from the webFTP, open it in 7zip and drag the class files to their respective areas.
Reupload it to webFTP and then start your server.

Some of the mods in that pack don't have a server version and will not work on multiplayer.

Thanks as always. Look forward to the official release and I will try as you suggest.
